My Great Uncle Bob died and we found all these drawings by my great great great Grandmother, in amongst his paperwork. They're from the early 1880's, from around the Adelaide region.

What a fantastic find. I found out from an Aunt a few years ago that there had been journal keepers in my family since the 1820s - i had no idea and no link to that side of the family - and it really made me feel more connected to the past, those people, their attitudes and this place we live in.

Odd but good.
